The Black Death effected the areas Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The plague spread extremely fast, trade routes were one of the main ways the Black Death spread. Ships and traders carried rats and fleas with them when trading items, infection the towns and villages they journeyed to. When the plague struck, people tried to run from it, but they only succeeded in spreading it further.
